Hi, I'm Lauren! I think of my work as a learning process, heavily inspired by sci-fi narratives, elements of theoretical physics and digital culture. I produce my work using accessible technology and focus on simulating alternative realities, virtual worlds and “what if” scenarios. I'm interested in escapism, the operation of online communities and the spaces and cultures they create. Bringing in elements of fan culture and references to the digital experience, my work considers what it means to exist online and produce work in the digital age.
